Marketing Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop engaging social media content, including designing digital assets.
  • Assist in strategizing and executing social media growth strategies that will attract and grow our target audience
  • Research people in the influencer community to collaborate with for IG live chats
  • Assist with Podcast production, scheduling a recording, producing marketing content, scriptwriting, and talent scouting.
  • Improve social site ratings and increase brand awareness through outreach and digital PR practices
  • Research media opportunities and brands that align with our mission and values.
  • Work efficiently in a flexible, independent, remote environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing skills and good judgment
  • Solid understanding of social media as an industry or significant experience with personal use
  • Preferably an interest in working with social media or communications
  • Has an understanding and appreciation for creative marketing and social channels.
  • Detail-oriented and a fast learner – has a passion for marketing.
  • Must currently be completing a degree in a related field and receiving college credit toward an internship.
  • Able to work remotely 20 to 25 hours a week.

Business Relations Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in acquiring clients and leveraging partnerships by actively conducting outreach and engaging with clients
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads, press release opportunities, partnerships/ affiliates, and grants that fit the company’s niche and mission
  • Develop presentations and draft pitches

Requirements:

  • Solid English oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, & Excel
  • Ability to take direction but work confidently, autonomously & remotely
  • Has an understanding and appreciation for marketing and social media.
  • Detail-oriented and a fast learner
  • Must currently be completing a degree in a related field (business relations, marketing, sales, etc.) and receiving college credit towards an internship.
  • Able to work 5 – 6 hours a day flexible 9 am – 8 pm.

Proposal Writer for Grants & Bids Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain grant database and create a grant calendar
  • Research foundations and grants that Socially Loud is eligible for
  • Develop and compile supporting documents for grant applications
  • Draft narrative proposals and responses to application questions
  • Conduct research on other sources of funding
  • Work efficiently in a flexible, independent, remote environment

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the grant writing process
  • Experience applying to grants is a plus
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and follow guidelines
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to articulate
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Must currently be completing a degree in a related field and able to receive college credit toward an internship.
  • Able to work remotely or onsite 5 – 6 hours a day, flexible 9 am – 8 pm

  • As a Manager of Business Development, you’ll be the tip of the spear when it comes to driving profitable growth.
  • A typical day might include the following: Contacting Prospects to set up meetings for the current and following week.
  • Focusing on competitive takeaways while also reviewing incoming RFP opportunities.
  • Building proposals that include our full-spectrum of offerings.
  • Tracking all engagement information in our CRM platform as a means to provide maximum visibility while improving your approach over time
