This week on Socially Loved I sat down with Binge, and I walked out of that studio thinking about one line for days. Nobody can do this the way you can do it. He is a creator who built a brand around reality TV culture, he calls himself a lore architect, and underneath the jokes he said some of the realest things anyone has said on this show about creators, brands, and owning your voice.
If you do not know Binge yet, you will. He is a YouTuber turned producer, quietly working on his first real project, and he makes content that feels like a TV show instead of someone talking into a webcam in their living room. That is on purpose. He has always wanted to make TV, and you can feel it in everything he touches.
He calls himself a lore architect, and I love that. It means he knows the culture cold. He can tell you the scene, the season, the exact moment, and drop the right meme into any conversation. But here is what makes it a business and not just a hobby. People do not want to do things alone. People seek community. So he takes something everyone writes off as just entertainment and turns it into a place where people feel connected.
Then he said the thing I want every brand executive at Cannes to hear. Creators want brands to be brave. See the whole creator, and take care of us, because we are taking care of you. Too many brands show up to borrow the culture for a season and then leave. Binge said it plain. Respect creators, because we are the ones handing you the key to the culture. And you can always tell who is really for you and who is just there for the check.
The part that got me was what he said to the person watching who feels invisible. Look at the camera, he said, and talk to someone sitting at home who wants to be seen and does not know where to start. Then tell them this. Nobody can do this the way you can do it. When you walk into a room and realize there is no one like you, that is not a reason to shrink. That is your aha moment. That is your purpose. There is always space for you, as long as you create it.
That is the whole reason I built this show. The creator economy is not slowing down, it is growing up, and the people who win are the ones who own their voice instead of renting attention. Binge is living proof. He took a lane everyone underestimated and made it undeniable.
