Wild Fork creator experience at SXSWWild Fork

Wild Fork became the SXSW moment.

We ran Wild Fork's Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Facebook day to day, built the creator and ambassador program, then took the brand to Austin with Rhythm and Roast. Strategy, content, creators, the room, the merch, the follow-up. All of it.

What they needed

Seventy-five thousand Instagram followers and about fifty likes a post. TikTok under 5K, YouTube under 3K. Pretty content that did nothing. They needed a voice, a community, and a reason for SXSW to stop at a food brand.

The move

Rebuilt the social strategy around pillars instead of promos and ran every channel ourselves. Every number moved: impressions up 80%, profile actions up 58%, followers up 23%, engagement rate up 468%. Recruited grill guys, meal planners and explorers into a creator and ambassador program. Then Rhythm and Roast, March 15, 2024 at Wanderlust Wine Co.: a BBQ cook-off hosted by Randa with two chefs and three judges, DJ Bellz on the decks, Jazlynn Q headlining, a social corner built for content, and the history of Wild Fork as a room you walk through, filled with hand-crafted tees and hats, spices, games and giveaways. Thirty-plus ambassadors on foot across SXSW handing out merch and collateral. Six hundred people came through, and the app push after it drove 700-plus downloads. Sunset Soda joined as sponsor and partner; we handled that relationship and built its social assets too.
